If all your adding is programming then I'd have to say, no you don't need headstuds. Programming effects fueling and timing not boost. At least not directly. If you add a larger TC that segnificantly increases your boost then yes.

Wow, am i the only one that read this...... If this is true, more horsepower puts no stress on the engine. More fuel more timing=more stress on engine, more stress on head studs. I have seen few programmers that do not add boost. You dont need a bigger TC to make a 6.blow. If its in your build budget, i would always upgrade the headgasket and the studs.

Last night i was at the track and i didn't see the titan beat anything, the closets race in favor of the titan was a titan. The only way a titan would have a chance aganist a 6.0 would be in a bracket race. LOL !!!!!!!!!

Put 1000lbs in the bed of both trucks then race, i would put my $$$ on the 6.0L. But dry vs dry, my buddies Titan is pretty damn quick.LOL

with the 8" lift and big tires id bet you get beat, but a stock ride height 6oh with a chip would kill one.

Ive beaten both new tuntras and titans badly. though i have a built duramax. not talking crap just saying i think youll beat him
