Cruise Control Inop

Does anyone know if there is an indicator light for the cruise control? I hit the on/off button on the steering wheel and try to set the cruise but nothing happens.

What Ken said is true and what happened to me is that the bellows diaphram actually tore on mine. When you open your hood apply a basic approach of if you see damage or if anything seems disconnected. This will usually eliminate the basics. The worst thing that it can be is the clock spring that is behind your air bag if you are driving the 92 or latter.
