I don't know who's in your area, but you may want to start by checking your local parts dealers..... AutoZone, NAPA, etc. and comparing prices. Don't judge by dollar amount alone, also check for warranty information, as it may be worth a few dollars more for a better warranty. I would think that you'd find a good comparison by doing this..... also check your local Ford dealer for a remanufactured engine. You never know, the price may not be that different and you know the quality would be there.

What are you looking for exactly? If you want a stock, oem, rebuilt engine, talk to Auto Palace, Auto Zone, etc. If you want a "real" 5.0 engine, look in an issue of 5.0 Mustang & Super Ford or Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords. There are so many shops that offer Ford blocks, stroker kits, shortblocks, complete engines, etc. Good Luck.
