65 Econo Truck

Did I not just see that truck on Ebay recently?
Most places can provide the panels. The only thing not available is a reproduction endgate. They are few and hard to find.
You can try MAcs ford parts and Dennis Carpenters for a lot of the rubber and plastic components.
Others will jump in here with places you can get replacement panels from.

Tailgate!!!!!!!!
sorry, couldnt help it. tailgates are more scarce than,,,,,,,,,,,, well, i guess anything!
a fixxable, [and i use the word loosly!] tailgate will bring a hundred bucks or so, a decent gate will bring 200-400 depending on condition, and the one and only n.o.s. gate i saw, and actually got to touch once, was sold to a freind for 700 bucks! of course it was still in the origional box!
some people have redone ranger gates and made them fit and look ok, but they just arent exactly right.

depends on what kind of look yu are goin' 4
stock or mild or wild custom, i fabbed my own smoothie tailgate, smoothed the original rollpan got rid of the outside hinges moved em into the jambs, the original gate was buttugly & a terrible fit...guess it was an afterthought to fit in the original van door openings.
to fab my gate i started with a pipe across the bottom, cut 6 pieces the shape of the jamb, with an extra 1/2 inch to bend "L" shape to weld to. then the jambshaped pieces to the pipe on bottom, and a strip of sheetmetal across the top to hold em steady for the assembly process, sheetmetal ends were pinched over about 1/2 inch each side then the whole durn thing wrapped like a giant burrito and plug welded thru to the "L" shaped parts, actually looks & constructed like a airplane wing. the sheetmetal joins 1/2 way in the centre,
only thing i would do different were i to do it over again, is on the outer skin, instead of welding the center "L" jamb pieces i would use one of those new body bonding adheasive epoxies. welding the inner to the outer took quite a bit of finishng to get nice n' straight, never worried about the look of the inside too much pretty warpy but could be covered up with a plastic or checkplate liner, hinges are homaid and plug into that lower pipe. and bolted onto the jambs with rivnuts have a hinged square tubular framed vinyl tonneau covers the box for show pop it off for hauling loads.
as far as latching all i've used is a typical hardware store deadbolts.
looks great onthe truck , never even put a name or emblem on it.......like to keep whoever's following guessing (heh heh) also went with those newfangled clear taillights..........well sorta.......unlike the ones for the new cars & trucks these only cost a buck & 1/2 each they are just clear back up light truck/trailer lenses the red lite comes from red led taillights inside
