C4,AOD... mated to 292 y-block

I am interested in the same thing.
I have an E4OD I am thinking about adapting to a 292 in my 55 F-600. Mine came out of a 94 super duty so it's up to the weight job... If I decide not to use the 292 down the road then I'll probably settle on a 7.3L IDI Navistar engine since this trans is the diesel version.
There's a company that makes an adapter to connect an E4OD to a Y-block.
http://www.transmissionadapters.com/ford_y_block.htm
It requires the model that would connect to a 302/351 block. Using an E4OD requires a computer to control it and a speed and throttle position sensor. The transmission has an approx 0.70 ratio OD final gear.
Regards,
Rick
