air flowing thru the floor vent with a/c turned off

hey guys,

i got some questions for you. i have a 95 F250 5.8 4X4 w/IFS.

when i drive my truck, i can feel air blowing thru the vents on the floor. i know the switch is turned off. in my RX300, i have a switch for vent so i can open them or close them.

is the vent always open on my truck? if so, is there a way i can close the vents?

second questions, when i do have the A/C turned on, sometimes, i can feel the A/C stops blowing cold air. i noticed it only does it when i give it some gas. is there a way i can turn that off?

vacuum line may be cracked or not connected.

a pen or other object may have fallen down thdefroster vent.

Thanks quick,

i'll check this weekend. i think i'll just replace all the vacuum hoses on the truck. i'll look for something stuck in the vents.

just the one to the heater is the one to mess with.

later do the rest if they are suspect.

the best way to look at vents is to remove the heater core.

mark hoses first, remove glove box and 7 screws and the core will come out.

than you have a good view of everything.
