You got the new-be-1 right, My maiden voyage at jump school, I was the first in line. When the commend stand-up, check your buddy, came, the sarge smiled, grabbed me and yelled newbe 1. That became my nick name at jump school.

You got me. I'm also setting my beer down someplace to go do something. Come back a minute or two later to grab it and I can't find my beer. So, I grab another then find my original. One for each hand.

Per caritate viduaribus orphanibusque, sed prime viduaribus.
E Clampus Vitus is both a historical and fraternal organization.
Although ancient in origin, it reached its peak during the
tumultuous days of The Great California Gold Rush.
A Member of E Clampus Vitus is commonly called a "Clamper."
The latter-day members of this organization attempt to uphold
the traditions of fellowship, good spirits, and fun.
Like their forbearers, the modern "Clampers" are dedicated
to the care and protection of the Widdow* and the Orphan.
* But especially the Widdow.

A fellow road junkie! I drove for thirteen, and have always been partial to KW's myself. Must be because that's what I learned on. Didn't care too much for the screaming Silver 92T though! That thing gave me a headache! My next love was a '68 KW. Hhhmmm... she was red and chrome! Loved that girl! She had a nice 400 Cummins with a 14-speed Spicer. At 95mph she still had one gear left! Great truck. Moved on to an '84 Pete with a 3408, passed anything but a fuel stop! Now it's a '90 Freightliner with a 3406C. Just swapped that out last March. The 3406B we took out had a-million-thirty-thousand miles. Most of those was up and down the Alcan and back and forth to Prudhoe Bay. Guess we got the good out that engine!
