My 4.5/6 lowered 70. Aim beams with cut coils and flip kit and leaf removed. Disc brake swap as well. 235/75/15 rear tire and 205/75/15 front tire. Front bumper measures 10.75 from bottom to ground. Wilwood adjustable prop valve and doetsch tech nitro slammer shocks.

This looks like a 67, it would be a lot nicer with a reconditioned 67 grille on it. Don't get me wrong, it looks beautiful as is. but a 67 grille would add that original "Bling" in the front.

^^^^^ I've seen that truck (a lot - he likes to post lots of pictures) and while it is very nice (especially the two tone paint) IMO it does not serve the bumpside body very well.

One of the nicest characteristics of our trucks is in fact that bumped body line going down the entire side of the truck.

That paint line running down the middle of the bump makes it disappear and ruins the look of the truck. I think it would have looked better if the upper color ended at the natural body line of the bed - up higher. That would have left the bump intact and more distinguishable.

Once again, this is just my opinion and it doesn't mean squat. Just thought that I'd point that out.

That black Ford tail gate trim piece is wrong too. Other than the grill and the tail gate piece it looks very nice. I also like the tone green color scheme, but as mentioned above, the tape line takes away from the body line....put the correct side moldings on it and that would fix that problem as well. Nice truck never the less.

Wow you guys are rough! Maybe he was not interested in a perfect restoration but building his truck his way. By the way how are you so sure it is a '67? My truck must keep you guys up at night

He can build it anyway he wants. My comments are because his 68-69 grille is dented on top.
The 67 grille would add a nice shine and correct look for his truck.
The 67 does not have visible door locks, look at pictures. Also hood emblems are 67. A nice set of hood emblems and a correct reconditioned grille, would make this truck look so much nicer.
As I said it is his truck to fix up his way, I'm just giving my opinion.

I was on my phone and could not see detail as small as door lock area. I did note the hood badges though. I also could not see a dent in the grille. Knowing you recondition grilles I can easily understand your post. I personally like the '67 grille best of all but see many who prefer the '68/'69. There is a bump I have seen pics of that has had the bump removed. I thought the truck looked good without it as well. For me there is more to the look than just the bump. The shape of the cab is a main one for me. I am glad to see any old truck that is being used on the road. If it were my truck there is quite a bit I would do different (I think my truck makes that evident) but I think it is a nice looking truck & am glad he put the effort into making it a usable vehicle instead of watching it go to the crusher.
