Question Is this a good deal?

Hi,
I was checking out Craigslist and found this for sale. It is in Gilroy (a little far for me unless this is a deal too good to pass up.) http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/pts/306743656.html

I want to replace the 2bbl carb I have with a 4bbl. Would this be a good one?

Thanks,
Karl

PS- If anyone lives closer and wants to snap it up first, go for it!

no...not in my opinion.

After cruising the swap meet with JD and Dan, the FE intake I see weighs about a 100 pounds...and a factory 4bbl isn't much to look at...

Look for an aftermarket Al hirise intake (about 100 bucks or so) and a Holley for performance, or edelbrock carb for milage/mild performance.

Thanks Mike. I need to find out what type of cam is being put into my engine so I know what type of carb/intake would work best. The mechanic said a 650 would be good.

Well, I am very interested. If you still have your 750 on April 29th, I want it.

Speaking of good deals. What a coincidence, I was looking at Craigslist too. What do you guys think about this. Could we use any of this for our mudder?
http://reno.craigslist.org/pts/307958885.html

The price is $100

Gotta get those fenders and doors! With those flames on there you KNOW the mudder will be twice as fast!
