Steering swap: 78/79 F150 to 74 F250

Hi all. I'm looking to update my steering from the ram assist setup. I was wondering if the tie rod from a 78/79 F150 will bolt into my low pinion dana 60 axle. The drag link will have to be something to think of later because my crossmember sits way to low to just do a straight swap with all the parts. Right now I only need to know if the tie rod will swap. I'm not sure if the 78/79 axle would have to be a dana 60 as well, or if there is a difference (tie rod anyway) between it and the 44. Thanks for any help!
