Post O2 sensors

I have a 90 bronco with a 302. equal lenght shorty headers and no cats. There are no O2 sensors on the truck right now. Would it make a difference in gas mileage or idleing if I put them in? I have the collars and the sensors but i was wondering if it is worth the hassle. I would appreciate any info anyone has. Thanks

O2 sensors

I don't know about them making a difference in gas milage, but I do know that if you had them on it wouldn't idle up and down.
