Rulebreaker is starting off with a positive reputation.
So I was driving down the road wishing the good Lord that I would stumble across a tcase cheap. Low and behold I saw a Ranger all jacked up, so I stopped and the guy had a manual shift 1350 and shifter laying on the ground. Brought it home for $30. YEH! So now I have all the drivetrain. There are pic's on my webshots page. I need to clean up the tcase yet. The shifter bolts don't line up so I need to modify it or find another. I thought the shifter was off an A4LD but I need to clean it up and see what it says on it. There is a pic of the basket case aero too for you southern folks who wish you could drive in salt water year round. RB

One of my girlfriends drives car with auto, and when she drives my van slowng down on red she press brake pedal with left foot and asks me, how to put tranny to newtral, I aswer, that she needs clutch pedal to be depressed, but she answeres me - how!! to relise brake and hit other car????? I can not make her to brake with right foot. What to do??? To hit her????

And whe she stops my aero, she release brake, press clutch, puts tranny to newtral, starts engine and drives againe.... !!!!!!! She kills my starter!

that kind of woman is called high maintenance here, pablo-ua

at least she doesn't grind the teeth off the tranny gears when she shifts

used to own a Corvette, wife would drive it, I would get whiplash neck and the tires would squauk and squeel on every shift
easier and cheaper to get rid of the car

All depends on cash flow. I need $300 for gears and $600 for tires plus a rear driveshaft and brakes all around. I'm shooting for this fall but in reality it could be spring. RB

Pretty rare car I'd say. Don't see too many stick shifts here, not for old ladies like us

Well known tranny Mazda M50D fits aero with 3.0 ore 4.0, but bellhousings differ.

To convert aero to manual tranny was not a big problem for me.

That is awesome dude. I would never do that to my personal vehicle, well, maybe a secondary junker. That is awesome. I have been impressed with the power of the 4.0, and I would think with the right gears, it could easily turn those monsters. I would like to see that baby crawling rocks.

I'm going to put 5.13 gears in and run either a 35 or 37" tire. I have a rock pit in my back yard and that's the first place im going when it's done. RB
