ford9c is starting off with a positive reputation.
I'd pay extra just to get back to a manual t-case. I don't trust the electric shift motors. Also ford, please keep the bean counters out of the equation and just build something nice and reliable that people want to buy and you won't have to worry about cutting costs so much!

i trust the esof by now, as long as they make it servicable. and yes, the neutral position that can be selected if the power goes out somehow. manual hubs are an intriguing idea, but the new f-150 has the outboard hubs, which is the best idea ever on an ifs/wishbone a-arm front end. if they were cable operated w/a t-handle under the dash instead of vacuum, imo it would be as good as manual hubs. like i said-as long as it's servicable. sometimes when you drive a vintage farm tractor, you realize there's nothing like good old levers.

Manual for me. STOP with the electric crap. We depend on electricity way too much already. I don't care for the cost. I need RELIABILITY NOT A COST CUTTER!
