What is the best Ford ever produced?

I was looking through Placermike's post and I think it was the 48' 3 ton.

73-79 hands down they are beast and im not just saying that because I have a 79 f150 although because of its package is considered one of the rarest fords

trucks in honesty arent built as good as the older and original trucks, all that plastic, and you can barely work on them....i perfer being able to do EVERYTHING i know how not having electronics stop me from changing the oil, because I cant reset the oil life gauge. grr

I like the one I have, but My fav was the 68 F100! Also have to go the the 67 Mustang!

The 1962 F100 is my favorite as it was my first truck (it was my grandfathers truck and he gave it to me), I also learned to drive in that thing. I wish I still had it today.

It's kind of funny how Fords are able to make it from generation to generation!

Yeah, it sure is! I gave my son my 1979 F250 when he was 17, he had it til he totaled it, luckily he wasn't hurt.

I have to say for cars, the 65 Tbird and Galaxie are really close to each other.
For trucks, 68-72 for body style, if they would have had power disk brakes and power steering on all models, and better frames, they would have had the market cornered and there probably wouldn't be much for competition now.
