Last time I ask I promise
Okay All April 2nd is rapidly approaching and this is when the current incentives/rebated end on the 07 and hopefully new ones start.
I have my expy (criteria anyway) picked out and ready to go but need to know if it's better to wait. I have heard to hold on for the next round due to the truck being out longer then plus the holidays tax time etc but as I am considering leasing this one wondered whether I am better of biting the bullet now.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated

Well I can tell you as of last week my sales manager told me that eddie bauer expeditions were leasing at better money than an other model. Not sure what rebates were but the points were better. I always thought that the further you go in a model year the higher the rebate. But it also depends on what models are being sold the most and least which determines all numbers on a lease.

I Ordered a '07 Expedition Limited in the Dark Copper with the Ebony Leather and Caramel Inserts. Options included the Convenience Package, 20" Rims and Heavy Duty Towing Package. Sticker was 42,810, Invoice is 39,548. I got the vehicle for 38,884 not including what dealer incentives will be around when the vehicle is delivered!

Hey guys, just a little info. The way it works is once the vehicel has an actual vin# is when you can lock in the rates and incentives etc. But in order to lock in the rates & incentives, you would also need to give your deposit as your down as soon as the vehicle has a vin#. Or wait until the vehicle hits the lot, which could also mean that you take a chance in losing the rates offerd at the time the vehicle was built or received its vin#. If the rates change for the better when your vehicle hits the lot and your credit allows for prime rates, the dealership has to give you these programs. They won't necesarily offer them to you. So be sure and ask if the programs have changed upon the time that your vehicle hits the lot. If they do increase,or change (ie rates) or the rebates increase they must honor them. So basicly, you don't lose!! If you are getting a vehicle built and the sales person tells you that "Yes you can get these specific incentives & the rates" etc etc, when there is'nt an actual vin# for the vehicle yet because it has'nt been built, therefore it does'nt exist. You need to leave that Dealeship! Well hopefully this helps you guys out. And if any of you are planing to buy a vehicle new or used, the best time to go into a dealership is the first day of the month, first thing in the morning right when they open. Or the last day of the month right whem they are getting ready to close. They won't hagle with you as much. This is the best time's to get a good deal. Take it from and X salesman. Have fun and God Bless!!
