Hello. Well, I was out there prepping for my Spool install next weekend, and when I adjusted the tilt steering it wouldn't lock back in. Has anyone dealt with this before? When I pull on the blinker switch, the wheel tilts up and down with no resistance. If I let go of the blinker switch, I can feel it ratcheting as I tilt, but it will not lock in!!! How do you get to that mechanism? I looked in my tear down manual, and it tells how to remove wheel, but it doesn't look like that will get me down to the piece I need. Anyway, all help is welcome!
