Sorry everyone.
Bought a new boat last weekend and it hasn't seen water yet. So I will be doing it's maiden voyage Saturday.

Bored? An FTE member? No way Jose! Say it ain't so Joe! Actually Jim was stuck at work, and bored, so he had nothing better to do than search old threads, and revive them for the greater posterity of the Northern Chapter.

Great!!!
Sounds like we have confirmation on:
me and the wife
AndyM
1Finebroncobabe
fastmover
TigerDan
hanklin
Nighteyez
Jag Red 54 (btw, good job with the meet idea)

Hopefully WillyB will feel a little better and be able to show up. It would be nice for our Chapter Leader to be there, but Clint, we all understand what it means to have health issues. Wishing the best for you bud. If you feel up to it, it would be great for you to come on out. And bring the camper, and wife too. I'll buy ya a beer (soda?).

Also, hopefully jd_silvia sinks his new boat and has nothing better to do on Saturday. Ha ha ha, just kidding Jon. But if you find yourself changing your mind, we all would love to have you show.

I have comunicated with Bdox via email and he has some VERY important issues to deal with so he is a maybe. I wont post the issues as I am not at liberty to do so. But trust me, they are important. Hopefully he and his wife will be able to come out as well.

If anyone else can make it, check in.
T

Yes, it would be nice for the chapter leader to show up. Can't have a chapter meet with out our fearless leader. And I believe Mike said he is 50/50, so that either means he will be there 50% of the time, or only 50% of him will be there all of the time. Haven't quite figured that one out yet.

Oh Geeze, I can't believe I didn't add Mike to the list. I had it on my hand written list but somehow I didn't type it onto the post.
Good catch Jim.
Mike is a definate gotta be there, but I'm sure everyone understands about child care problems. Hopefully, he can get that worked out.
Mike, if you can, give me a call. We can see if I can help out. Don't know, depends on where you are. Time'll be short for me over there.

Hey,
Did anyone add this even to the FTE "Events" Calendar? If not, I will do it. Any reason not to?

Good idea Karl. I posted in the neighboring forums a whoile back (Southern Cal and Nevada Chapters). I hadn't thought of the Events Calendar. Good catch.

Tim,
I tried twice to post on the events calendar, but it did not show it. Do you have to be a moderator?

My calender event did not work, but I created a post in the Chapter Meets Forum. Here is a link to it.
And here is a link to the Micke Grove website.

I will be there as soon as the park opens. I will wear a bright orange shirt, with black ball cap on, can't miss me. ) I will leave after work tomorrow, and head up there, and look for a place to sleep.

It is good to have extra charcoal because there are several pits. The club usual stokes 2. One year, (2005 I think, they only had one) this created a line of people wanting to cook. So if we can have some extra charcoal there just in case, then there can be more grilling going on and everybody can "geterdun." See you all there, John
OK, So John is the MC (Meet Coordinator) and is planning on meeting on the side closest to the West Parking Lot, and will be setting a sign so we can meet there. Sounds good.

I don't have an FTE TeeShirt, but might be in the area the night before, setting up my temporary residence. I was going to post my cell # but chickened out. Internet and all, probably not a good idea.
John, please send a pm to me with a cell # for you just in case. I might be able to do something to help if I am in the area. I'll send you mine right now.

If anyone else would like to exchange cell #'s, pm me. I'll check my pm box later today before I leave. I've got Andy's and Leilani's and they have mine. I may even have others from an earlier interaction but wont know until I check old pm's.
