radio install 1976 f 250

There are 2 wires that came from the radio a blue and red and a black and yellow.The radio I am trying to install has a yellow (which they say goes to the battery and red says acc. hooked them both up and the ground and its not working anyone no these new radios got me?

Blue/red stripe = Radio Light

Black/Yellow wire is POWER with the key.

Your yellow Memory wire goes to constant power.

That can be tapped into your lighter circuit or straight to battery
