Roush F 150, 1998 Mark Martin "Signature Edition)

I purchased velicle # 3 (the number on accompanying certificate of authenticity and on the front bumper of the vehicle) of this edition from a dealed in Indiana in 2001. According to a November 30, 1998 letter from Roush Performance under the signature of Ed Wayland, 500 of these F-150s were to be produced. According to the dealer (no longer in business) only 3 were actually completed.

I am looking for information on:

1. How many were actually produced and if
only 3 as I was told - does anyone have
any idea as the where abouts of #'s 1 & 2?

2. What all was done to, changed or added to
the stock F-150, XLT, extended cab truck,
w/4.6 V8 Triton engine? Its obvious that it
has been lowered, Mark Martin signature
decals added, Ultra rims with 295/50R/16
tires added, bright colored striping and
flares added, and a NASCAR type front
bumper.

This truck does have a sound and personality of its own!
Any info. would certainly be appreciated!

Thanks,

robbat

Roush F 150, Mark Martin "Signature Edition"

Dear Robbat and any other Ford , Roush, Mark Martin enthusiasts,

My wife has a 1999 Mark Martin Signature Edition F-150. She only has 7800 miles on her. She (the truck) is white with Marks signature through a #6 on the hood and on the tailgate. She has Mark's signature across the windshield and also small signatures through #6 on jump doors. She has blue fender flares and small red and blue strips starting on front fenders going down the side get larger on the doors, with small flying V's ( I assume this was done for his sponsor at the time Valvoline) before getting smaller on jump doors and continuing down side of bed. She has front air-dam with fog lights and small #52 on front bumper, she's been lowered and has Roush wheels and low profile wide Goodyear rubber on her. She also has cat back exhaust system with flow-master and Roush chrome tip. She is powered by a 5.4 liter Triton V-8 which will run like a scared rabbit if you want her too. She also has a Roush tag attached to firewall with serial number on it and Roush floor mats inside. She has certificate of authenticity that states she is number 52 of 500. My wife and I have tried for three years to take her to Batesville AR for Mark's fan appreciation day, finally this year we made it. Mark was gracious enough to come outside and sign the passenger side airbag. If you have never met Mark, you will never meet a better person and or NASCAR driver in your life. He is a outstanding person and will always be a CHAMPION to my wife and I. Mark probably signed over 3000 autographs them two days. I felt sorry for him, but the whole time we were there he was all smiles and seemed to be having a good time. If anyone who reads this and knows where one of these trucks are please contact me, I would love to talk to the owners.
THANKS
Richard D. Hord

We currently have #35 of the Mark Martin Signature addition. How would we go about getting the certificate of authenticity; anyone know? This f150 is lowered; has 18" wheels, z rated tires, etc.

There should be Roush paperwork with the truck. Roush also lists on their site information about how to tell the real deal from a fake. You posted the picture link correctly, Yahoo blocks outside image linking. You need to use a photo server that will allow outside linking such as photo bucket.

I'm new to the forum, my father-in-law owns #24 out here in Oklahoma. He is the original owner too. He has all the original paperwork that came with it. I think it has about 40,000 miles on it. The truck has everything on it as described by the previous posts, even the Roush sticker on the firewall.

I've been trying to find info on this truck for quite a while, I'm glad I found you guys. Any more info you guys have to share with me about the truck, I'd appreciate it.

I'd load a picture, but don't know how to yet.

Very nice truck!

Hey guys, I'd like to see some pictures too. It is a lot easier to post pictures now that there are photo albums on FTE. Get busy uploading those photo albums!
