Hey guys I'm requesting admission to the So-Cal Chapter, My name's Mason and I live in the little town of Camarillo,Ca. in Ventura Co., Ex Military, current utility company worker,early 30's,and proud owner of a 77 4X I pick-up $500+DMV fees and turned it into a head turner "my baby".
This truck given me a lot a confedence in my mechanical skills and I've been through a bunch with it.
I live your normal busy So-Cal life with summer W/Es at the lake boarding and winter W/Es on the mountain. But am still up for a local meet when the moons are aligned just right and I'm free.

BTW, I have a listing for a dent free F-100 body on here w/pics in my gallery. Not desperate for a buyer, I have a guy that wants it in the Mid-West, just thought if a local member needed something it's really a sweet deal, I'll even work on the price depending on the situation.
I just know as soon as i let it go I'll see a post like " I rolled my truck and need a cab" or something.

I saw your gallery, nice rig!
It's funny my close uncle had a 74 Hi-boy, blue and white, what a beaut. That's what got me hooked on these old trucks. Now he looks at mine next to his 87 F-250 diesel and wishes he never sold the 74.

Welcome to the site. I noticed your from Camarillo... I was born there and lived there for two years. I wasn't there for long, but everytime I go to visit, it feels like I'm home. Has anything changed there in the past couple years?

Camarillo ahhhh......It exuded "I'm Home". Born and raised here. People just forget it's history more and more everyday. Fields are disappearing and they almost tore down the historic Camarillo ranch house at one time.

 

It's sad. Last time I went back, the orange orchards that were behind my house were torn down and "$2 Million +" homes in their place! Next time I go back, I'll let you know! Maybe we could meet up

 

Doesn't matter where you go anymore, there is always "progress". My home town hardly looks the same anymore so many 'new to me' buildings, and shopping centers have gone up there.
