Well, I finally got mine (BrandMotion model)today and installed it in 5 minutes. I controlit right through the OEM stereo. Work well.

 

Here's my review on the BrandMotion device that I posted on another thread.

I just sent back my BrandMotion. While it works, it's not the greatest for a factory navigation unit. When you are in map mode, it does not display the track info in the title bar like it does for radio stations that broadcast that info. Also, it defaults to sort by album, so if you've been listening to a playlist and then shut your truck off for an extended amount of time. The unit will begin playing that last song from the beginning of the track, but instead of playing the next song in the playlist, it will play the next track of the album. It does not remember that you were shuffling or listening to a playlist. It defaults to shuffle off and play by album. I listen to shuffled playlists when I driving around and this was an intolerable quirk for $225. I went back to listening to my iPod through the AUX jack.

I'm waiting for a TripTunes harness that's compatible with the factory navigation unit.
