I have a 40/20/40 seat out of a 92-96 F150. I want to put it into my '79 F100. The center seat and mounting bracket on the split seat are f.u.b.a.r. due to a wreck. I am thinking about replacing the center seat with another or one from an excursion. I need some input on the best way to do this swap. Would the excursion seat be too much of a headache? To installing the new seat do you just put the mounting bracket from the bench on the new seats? Any input is appreciated thanks. ,Nate

 

to swap a seat you have to use the 79 seat tracks anyway.
swap the new seat to the old seat tracks.

This works for up to 1996

 

When I do that will the seats move as one unit or will they still adjust independently?
