New Owner '01 Ex Limited V10 here, looking for part number for oil cooler....
Howdy Y'all! ( as we Texans say)
Ok, so I have been scouring the internet now for about 4 hours. I researched, and researched, but I cannot locate an online supplier, or part number for an oil cooler for my new beast.
I know that the cooler has these numbers in it 6A642, BUT there are digits before, and after that set.
Just bought it a few days ago and after getting home today I noticed some oily water dripping by the front passenger side of the engine. Popped the hood open and saw it was coming from the radiator reservoir. Thought it was the cap, but my research has told me that I have either a leaky cooler or bad gasket because of the root beer float that is coming out of the tank.
Any help out there?
Thanks in advance!

You can get the parts here. Have any questions e-mail him or give him a call. The category the oil cooler is under is "cooling" on his site.

Thanks for the link. Going to have a buddy look at it for me. Said 9 out of 10 just need the gasket(s) replaced. Bad thing is you have to pull the motor mount to replace the gaskets that normally leak. But he is going to pressure test the cooler first, since it is easier to get to. Though I won't really save too much cash, one is labor intense, the other is not.
Worse part about it all, to me, is that he suggests (after his radiator flushing) that I just run water in the radiator the next few weeks, 6 to be exact, to get all the oil out of my cooling system and then go back to the normal coolant ratio. And during that 6 weeks, once a week, drain the radiator and refill with clean water.
