I have a 99 psd 7.3 and i am wanting to make my own biodiesel. i worry about the effects on the seals and rubber in the engine. Am i compatable and if not what do i need to do if i am not?

 

Your 99PSD is ready to go biodiesel now No mods necessary, just pack a spare filter for the first coupla a tanks if you use B-100.

 

I have run b 20 in the past but am i safe to run b 100 without having to change much?

 

You don't have to change anything......................

 

I'm running B99 in my 99 PSD now, and so far no problems, but this is my first year. I'm not worried. You shouldn't have to worry about any rubber fuel system parts in your truck, since most everything made after 1996 (?) have BD compatible materials in them already.

 

Is my 1997 PSD also compatable with a specific (or the whole) range of biodiesel blends?

 

No.. If you run biodiesel in that model truck, your tires will fall off, your wife will leave you, the transmission will fail and you'll be out of a truck.....

Yes its fine... Admin Note: Commercial content removed. <!-- I have many customers running B100 in all years of fords.. --> I have not heard of any diesel engine ever having compatability issues beyond the occasional rubber fuel hose.. (very minor fix)

 

If that's all it takes to get my wife to leave me, well I should've run the BD a long time ago...
