Affect on Ride with Payload Group Option

I was looking to order a new F-150, with one of the reasons being the quality of the ride. I also want the ability to be able to use my Father-In-Laws truck camper which weighs close to 2000 lbs. Looking at the options for a long bed, 4.6 V8, the pay load groug #3 seems to supply the additional payload capacity.
Question I have is will the heavy duty shocks and springs have a big affect on the ride?

I don't think so. I had a 98 f150 SB RC 4x4 and it was pretty bouncy. I traded it on a 2000 F150 7700GA and the ride is actually a little better. Could be that its a longer wheelbase, but the ride at least isn't any worse, or harsher. BTW, I'm very surprised at the difference in turning radius between the short wheel base and the medium wheelbase I have. I could turn the old truck very easily, but the new one takes a couple of points (as in 3 point turn).
