newbie form bundy aussie

hi all, just joined and looking for a bit of advice etc fom some knowledgeable local chaps hehe. i dont own an f truck, tho ive got 2 xh falcon utes, one with a reasonable lhs door hit, my plan is to find a 6 cyl 2wd mid 70's to mid 80's f100, and transplant the driveline etc out of the damaged xh into it, paint it, lower it and put some nice rims on it. If anyone knows the whereaboots of something that might be a reasonably solid starting point, that isnt tooo far away (under 300k preferebly) from bundy, could you plaese let me know, a roller would be ideal but would consider anything. Regards, andy

Welcome to the site Andy!!!

To be honest with you - your best bet would be to pick up a copy of the trading post, and look in the commercial section. They always have a few in there from up Qld way.

Might get someone to post up where they know of one anyway

thanks, muchly appreciated, ive been keeping a bit of an eye on ebay, just not ballsy enough to buy a vehicle unseen yet : D. That and the freight thing hehe. The problem with this area is the amount of cancer these sort of age vehicles have, i might look a bit inland methinks, thanks again f350

Going off what a mate did (he bought an Exploder off e-bay) I wouldn't either...

See if you can look for an American made F-Series that has been converted. Parts are harder to get here (but easier to get overall if you are willing to pay shipping from the US, and most converters used Falcon dash's and steering boxes and columns) but the US made vehicles used much better quality steel against rust thanks to thier salted roads.

1. Click on "User CP" in the top left corner of the screen.
2. The menu on the left, click on "Edit Gallery"
3. Click on "Create Album" - here you can create a different album for each of your trucks, and they get listed in the Image Gallery section of the website. Putting images up of your trucks gets you a running in the "Ride of the week" award.
4. Once you have created your album, go back and select "edit album", here you can upload photos, and they will be in your profile.

If you have any more questions, I can help
