I got them in the mail today! WOW I had a problem with SC3000 shocks and Pro Comp sent me MX6 shocks to replace my bad shocks. I wanted 4wheel Parts to help me out when they sold me the wrong shock. 4 wheel parts had me so frustrated and the Pro Comp Mfg. more than corrected the mess. I feel that Pro Comp will stand behind there product and my sale coasted them money but they wanted to make it right. The shocks that I purchased from 4 wheel parts were very good shocks but not for an F350. Because Pro Comp did what they did for me I will purchase the products Yes a Lift Kit, Tires, and Rims. I just can't believe Pro Comp gave me MX6 shocks to replace my SC3000 shocks it shows they care about there product and will stand behind them even when 4 Wheel Parts screws things up. I will purchase Pro Comp products just not from 4 Wheel Parts.

I have a few questions.

Why were you replacing just the shocks on a 2005 truck anyway when you were going to lift it soon and spend that $ all over again?

Why do you feel the need to sell your truck just because you had bad business with one store?
I have a Pro Comp lift and have ran it for almost 3 yrs on my 2003 , I love it. 4Wheel parts were very helpful to me and very courteous.

Well lets see if you had a $50,000 truck would you want to drive it with bad shocks? I drive from Pa. to Va. every weekend because I have a summer home in Va.The warranty will be over 2008. In May I will be in Disney my Daughter is getting married at Fort Wilderness so I want good shocks for that ride also. Do you know anything about how an F350 handles when the front shocks are dry? I drive at 70 MPH and my wife is in the truck do you understand that! I wanted my shocks upgraded to SC9000 because the tech at pro comp told me the shocks were too light for an F350 and 4 wheel parts sold me the wrong shocks! an upgrade should have set me back $30.00 with shipping. 4 Wheel Parts told me that and they put it on my credit card and I never got the shocks.
You ask why would I sell my truck and the answer is I can afford to! I own three houses and a Condo I make $78,000 and my clears $56,000 per year not counting Rent. I paid cash for my truck and if I get pissed I can afford to get rid of it!
For me to purchase a lift kit and tires plus rims gives my something to do for a hobby. I did not want to lift my truck at first but after installing a leveling kit made me want to lift it and put on larger tires. I know of a place in Va. that will change my gears to complete the job. My truck is just a toy and I enjoy working on it but I don't like to be pulled!
I guess you were lucky you never experienced any problems with 4 wheel parts. I see that you never experienced a problem with Pro Comp products. They make a good product it is 4 Wheel Parts that stinks.

It seems that you can't understand why I would put on shocks when I was going to lift it anyway. The answer is I can afford to! You asked why would I sell it because of a bad shock deal? the answer is I can afford to I get rid of things they piss me off! last week I had Craftsman tools and the sales person gave me a hard time about returning some tools so I sold them at work and purchased Evercraft tools from Napa. No more crap from Sears!
What is your truck an F150 F250 F350 F550? What year truck? What lift kit did you use? How is the ride now? What size tires do you have now? Did you change your gears? Were there any problems with keeping the front end aligned? Do you front tires cup? Did you upgrade your sway bar? Pro Comp put me back looking at lift kits and before I purchase my lift kit there are some questions that I have to ask someone that has lifted there truck.

I took my truck off road in the dirt and I am impressed with the shocks! I set them 1/2 way on road and full off road. I would recommend Pro Comp MX6 shocks to anyone but not 4 Wheel Parts.

skirk55,

Seeing as how you are in a slightly better financial situation than me, would you care to send me that ford truck (you know, that $50k F350)? I'd assume that you won't need payment, seeing as how you have clued us in about what you own and can afford to just get rid of. I'd be real happy to take it off your hands if it's being troublesome to you.

In addition, if the Napa Evercraft tool set goes bad, go ahead and forward that my way as well. I can give you my address if you'd like to pm me.

Thanks!

Try working and saving! With all things is life you get what you work for. Don't be jealous because someone else has more. Be happy with what you have because that is what you have made out of your life. Sarcasm is the flaw of ones personalty.
As for the Evercraft tools I like them. I put a lift kit on a friends F150 and they were very good. For the money they are not bad plus they have a lifetime warranty.

...And I'm sure that you being arrogant isn't a "flaw in ones personality"?!? lol... Work and save... I said that you were in a "little" better financial situation - don't think that you know my life. I have been working and saving to get where I am today, and I am indeed happy. I don't know where you get these ideas that I'm not.

btw, I'm not so sure that you have "more" than me. I don't need to sit here and type out what I own and where... I guess maybe that's my flaw? Not flaunting what I own?!? lol... I hope that you have thanked Blackstock for his (?) help...

The amount of money one has has nothing to do with anything! Material things can never bring you happiness. You have some issues! Try to join in a conversation on a good attitude. One that lives in a glass house should not through stones. Your post I found insulting not funny! You need to talk to someone about your problems. Take care and no need to reply!

Well, first off, you were to one to throw your income and asset numbers around, not me. That being said, I don't know why you then say that money has nothing to do with this.

Coming from the guy who freaked out about a place not standing by it's product... you go on to rant and rave how much Pro Comp is bad, how your "dreams are ruined" etc etc...
