That is fine but, Tahuya actually states that it has a seperate 4X4 trail that is suitable for full size trucks.

None the less I am open to suggestions, Lets get confirmation on Lake Cle Elum's eligability. I also know of a FREE campground and ORV park in the ellensberg area if we want to do an "Eastern WA" thing. Also the Free one has no utilities no water no power no nothing.

Marty, If it says full size trucks, I'll be right behind pushing you. I just hate having to polish brush marks out of Black full size truck. I shall do somemore checking about camping out at the Lake Cle Elum Beach, as well as Montesano.

Well, I read it again and this is what it states and hind sight is not really 20/20 but, more like 20/10

{These trails are intended primarily for use by larger short wheel based four wheel drive
vehicles. 4x4 trails are signed with a u on the ground. These trails are not smooth dirt
roads. They have many rocks, roots and deep ruts.
Open to all users.
Forest users helped create opportunities for
recreation by developing many of the Tahuya's
trails. Recreationists can help maintain resources}

So I assume this means Jeeps Suzuki's S-10's ect

Short wheel base is the key words. We both get on those trails, and we are going to do some 30 point turns or hit a divit that the rear drags as the front scrapes heading up. Then we are stuck having to back out just to get out again. Not, that I did this on a 4X4 trail near Salmon la Sac last August.

Placermike, like you said if someone is willing to help me get the truck out of a tight spot I'm down for anything. Not sure the wife would appreciate me having it towed home but with my Irish luck It should be all good. Hell with the paint! It's a farm truck.

Do you blame them? If we cannot be responsable enough to be curtious in the night when kids should be sleeping do we deserve the right to ride them in the residential limits?

Please do not take this like I am against anything. I just see the other side too
