Forgot to mention how loyal Todd is to the Delaware Chapter. He brought along our flyers and that we were able to hand out to a lot of Ford truck owners. Good job Todd!
You had to be there. Todd's BUMPER was a real crowd pleaser! Everybody who walked by and saw it had to stop and gawk. lol
It was real helpful when trying to get out of the track. Todd just nosed it in line where ever he wanted and seemed nobody wanted to challenge its strength or durability.
[quote=glruff]A fun time was had by all! Didn't think the race would ever get going. There was like 3 wrecks in the first 20 laps.
glruff, my brother and I got to the track near the tail end of cup qualifying, which was neat to see. We then went down to the ground to get something to eat before the truck race started. So, we missed being in the pictures that you took, but the two young fellows in one of the pics were sitting next to us. Unfortunetely we didn't get a chance to meet anyone since we didn't know who was with the group and who wasn't. I asked when we first got there if anyone sitting near us at the time was with the Del. FTE but there wasn't, and then things got noisy and we just watched the race. So, maybe next time I'll know who is with the group after meeting some at the local get together. We enjoyed the race and activities, it was my first time seeing the trucks. I expected to see more action near the tail end of the race but it all happened in the first lap, but it was all good. Thought Kyle Bush would win as his truck looked like it was the one to beat early on, but tires did him in. My brother and I had a great time, and the pulled pork sandwiches were excellent!
