The veggie oil separates out. It also needs to be heated to 180 degrees to achieve it's flash point. If you don't preheat the veggie, it can cause the injectors to coke up.
I know about those heating setups with a seperate tank and coolant running around the fuel lines. But in the warm weather can I just put one of those Racor 12Volt heated filter units in line with my fuel system and use 60% diesel and 40% Filtered Veggie oil.
thanks

Do yourself a little test... take a little diesel, and an equal amount of veggie oil, put them in the same glass jar, and let it sit. This will show you if the oils will separate. I did it and they did. Also, any natural rubber hose or seals will become mushy after running it like that, veggie is hard on rubber parts.
thanks fellro86, you know what had me most frustrated, I performed small test batches to make some Bio diesel. The Glycern settled out and it looked great, but I put them in the fridge overnight in a mason jar and they gelled up. To me it seemed like I will have to heat up no matter what I put in except diesel.
thanks again
