i was wanting to kmaow wether not i need a bull bar for the winch to attach to the truck or if i can get somthing to hook it up to the frame

 

No on the bull bar. You will need sometype of mounting kit, most are not universal though. I prefer Warn, really nice winches with a good reputation, replacement parts readily available and a varity of mounting options.

I like the semi hidden kits, that's what I have on my F250. You always have the winch available, but people don't notice and ask you to pull them out of places they don't belong.
