OK big question here. I see that I'm credited with finishing 2 WUs so far, but my computer hasn't been able to send the rusults according to the log file. We had some internet probs yesterday, but they're taken care of and it still isn't sending. I allowed a rule to allow F@H to access my computer to retrieve files, etc. but I keep seeing access from a couple of the same ports being blocked. How in the world do I give the firewall (Norton 2007) permission to let the info flow freely?
I don't want to get credits and points for not being successful in sending the finished WU's in for evaluation. Last time, it took a while for the first WU to show up on my display. But now, the 2nd one isn't showing, even though I've received credit for it. I'm working on my 3rd WU, slowly but surely...or not so surely now.... but I think I have a glitch that needs figgered out.
Like that guy on the commercial... deep in debt up to his ears, riding his mower with a silly smile on his face... I'm saying the same thing here....
"Somebody help me!" Here's a copy of my log file...for just a ways...someone tell me what's up wiffit!

I rebooted this morning and it's still trying to send. I even turned off my firewall for an hour and it didn't send. Guess, I'll just wait and be patient, but I do hate spinning mine or F@H's wheels. As soon as they come out with a good program that works good with Vista, I'll install F@H on the laptop and run it there instead. I don't have the router re-established yet and don't want to mess with it until we get our free upgrade to Vista Premium.

Well, it's still a no-go on the SMP client on the other computer. I think it's the craptacular motherboard, an Asus M2N-E. That thing has been giving me problems since day 1. Anyway, it's up for replacement.
Any recommendations for a reliable socket M2 mother board with memory voltage options over 2.0V, active chipset cooling, and good overclocking options? I have a couple in mind, but opinions are always appreciated...
fordlover in the F@H control panel-connection pg, try clicking or un-clicking "use internet explorer connections" that has worked for me the couple times mine stalled
I wish I could get past my current issue. The new SMP client will not connect to the server. It keeps failing. Quite possibly my firewall, unfortunately I cannot change it.
