Thread split. It was getting too large (1000+ posts), and post large queries slow the database. Please use this thread for further replies.

Great job everyone! I'll be done with WU 9 around midnight tonight. I haven't had a lot of time to keep up with all the posts, but the comp has been folding 24/7 since I joined. It's great to see a bunch of people come together for a common cause. Keep up the good work.

anyway to get the original couple of posts on this thread Ken so people know whats going on? I guess someone could just copy/past and reply, but if you could get it on the first page that would be awesome.

Too late now that its split, but plenty of people have links to it in their sigs.

Hey guys, im down a computer due to my ignorance when i was flushing out my watercooler. I got a splash of water between the circuit board and the drive case, let it dry for a day, and then fired it up. Now it has the click of death. I should have removed the pcb so it would have dried better, oh well,
windows needed to be refreshed.

If any of you have a western digital 40GB model# WD400BB-00CAA0, i would like to get the circuit board.

exactly, I think the going rate is 25-50c a gig, making a working 40 gig drive worth about 12 dollars

I still have the remains of a sweat shirt that says "I'd fly 7,000 miles to SMOKE A CAMEL"

In the foreground on it is a mid-easterner on a camel with an F-14 firing a missile behind it.

(too big for the scanner)

That was over the Libya thing....

Sometimes I wonder how much stuff I have lived through. I never really saw it all.

I'm assuming that if there was a stock option on this thread and it just split - the value has more than DOUBLED....

(he observes)

Skrew it anyway - my next is at 50%!

We are burning the highway up!
