Just wanted everybody to know that I am folding on my desktop system as well now! So, that makes one more! Whoo Hoo!
It's not a screaming machine, 996Mhz, 512 MB RAM, but every little bit helps! If we have even our little guys crunching away, pretty soon it all adds up to some serious work!
See ya 'round the bend...

I dont think I'll be staying at the top of the team rankings too much longer:
http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000823.html
I wish they'd come out with something for the 8800 GPU's, because I
refuse to buy a gaming console!
Now an ATI card wouldn't be out of the question for the other machine...
OBTW, I expect our team ranking to level off and start going back down pretty quickly as these PS3 / GPU clients come online. Either that, or they (F@H) will do all the work they can on the PS3 / GPU clients and lower the points accordingly.
Thoughts?

It was a stupid mistake like I suspected. You need to run the install.bat from the folder you install it to, before you run it. Then, and only then, will it work.
Here's a link to the place on their forum with the known SMP client bugs:
http://forum.folding-community.org/ftopic18210.html
Try that. You might have to click the link and see if it's on their known bugs list.

dont start the smp client if you dont read the instructions. you have to set it up before you can start it
what operating system do you run?
do you have a password on your pc?

XP, yes I have a password, and it went through a little setup prompt when I ran it. I guess I should've read first.
