2004 Lightning tonneu cover

Help!

I have a 2004 Lightning with the tonneau cover. I have lost the driver side
rear most 'end cover? with the handle that allows the rearbar (closest to
the tailgate) to be removed. The tonneau frame has 2 bars that hold the
middle of the cover up to keep water from puddling on the top of the
cover.

The Ford guys here have ordered 2 different parts, neither of which was the
correct part. I called SVT they indicated that Ford outsourced the covers
and perhaps there is a tag on the cover, sure was FORD.

There is one of these on each side of the rear portion of the tonneau cover
frame, both have a 'pull down' on the bottom that is spring loaded that pulls
a metal 'pin' down which allows the rear frame to be removed.

Unfortunately the part numbers on the passenger side don't correlate as
Ford part numbers: on the body of the part 331.100 R, on the top of the
handle 333.50 A R.

Any assistance would be most greatfully appreciated!

Thanks

There is a fellow Lightning owner at SVT Performance who works in the parts department at a Lincoln dealership. Because he is a parts guy who owns a Lightning, he might be able to come up with the proper part number so your local dealership can order the correct part. His registered name over there in the Gen 2 forum is "RIDE THE".

His real name is Eric.

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind taking a crack at identifying the part for you.
