Throttle body spacers

Lately i've been hearing a lot about throttle body spacers. Are these things worth spending some money on? I have an SCT tuner, Gibson exhaust system and about to get a K&N intake and now i'm thinking to maybe get a throttle body spacer. So are they worth it and are they easy to install. I have a 2004 5.4L F250. thanks

I would suggest the Outlaw Power intake over the K&N. It seals to the fender to bring in cooler air unlike the K&N's that have an open underhood filter. Cooler air means more power. It sounds nice too. I've been happy with mine.

Thanks for the question, I was wondering the same thing. I have heard that on some applications that TB spacers do work...maybe that was with carburated engines back in the day, haha.

well, i've posted this about 500 times on this subject, but hey, what's one more?

I def. reccommend getting the tb spacer. it is by far the best product* i have EVER spent money on. Honestly, i'm not lying or anything, spend the money and get it....

*note - by "best product" i'm referring to it's alternate use as a paperweight ... don't waste your money

These spacers supposedly create a "vortex" effect, which MIGHT be helpful if you're runnuing a carb or TBI. With most modern injection systems the fuel is injected at or after the intake valve, so this effect is a waste of time and money; no fuel droplets to "vortex".
