Two Birds with one stone
Mine didn't...... I got to a point where the frame-mounted pump wouldn't pull enough pressure to crank right up when the truck was warm. I'd have to grind on it for 8 to 10 seconds before it would fire and run. Testing proved low line pressure. If you're getting a light, and you suspect a fuel system problem is related, have you considered your fuel pressure regulator? It's possible that it may be failing and creating a rich condition, which is triggering your light. This is, however, only one of a number of possible causes / scenarios. Have you run a code scan, yet?
