Talk about getting hooked up!

I got this 67 F100 in October.
-My first hook up was Jon(JD) giving me his old drum setup, so I could get mine back together. I got spindles, drums, all of it.
-Next deal was Mike, he gave me (4) 15X8 rims(a little rusted up chrome ones that'll go with the truck nicely), so I can get rid of these Dodge ones the previous owner put on. The tires and rims hit the shock towers on turns.
-Last week I found a white 15X7 at work in the scrap pile. One of the mechanics tossed it in there from his Jeep project. Now I can have a decent spare!
-Yesterday I comb thru the used tire pile at work, and saw 3 tires I can use. They have to pay to get them removed, so it's even better. Now I can swap out the 2 fronts & get the spare on.
-Earlier in the week I was going to order an Offy intake, a carb, and header for the ol' 300. My nephew told me not to, his buddy with a 78 Ford van just wrecked his van. He just bought an Offy, and EFI manifolds. He's planning on taking it to the bone yard, but I can get anything I want for $200. That means the intake(still in the box), manifolds, and I'm gonna also swipe the dizzy, 3rd member, stock intake, P/S pump & brackets, crank pulley, and what ever else I can get.
-My nephew wants the EFI manifolds, so he's giving me his Hedman hedder, and dual 2.25" pipes with flowmasters, and exits under the bumper. He wants a single 3".

All that, and the only things I've got new are a wiper switch, and bigger front wheel cyls.

Now THAT'S how to build a project!

I didn't know Jeep had 5 on 5.5...I'd have given you a Jeep wheel as well...found it on the side of the road...looked brand new.

Truck was $900, the engine was a reman from a FOMOCO dealer in '99. If the seat were more comfy, it would be even better.

I added a couple pix in my gallery of it. It came with a 69 grille, cuz the front bodywork isnt totally straight, but it's ok by me, since I like the 69 grille better.

Looks good what I can see of it. I wish I had a 300 I6 in my truck! then maybe I could actually afford to drive it
