20 inch rims

A buddy just told me that even though I have 20 inch rims, the spare is only 18. Sure enough. It looks like a full size 20 inch rim and tire will fit where the factory spare is. Does anyone know for sure? Anyone know a cheap place to get a spare 20 inch rim to match the factory ones (besides a salvage yard - I will be calling them tomorrow)?

What Bear says. The rim has nothing to do with over all tire diameter. A 20 inch rim has less sidewall than a 16 inch. A 33 or 35 inch tire is overall diameter no matter what the rim size is.
