hydraulic clutch?
First of all I have a 93 F250 4x4 I just put a body lift on it and I drove it about 3 miles and lost what appears to be a lot of hydrolic fluid underneath the truck. So it was news to me that I have a hydraulic clutch but now that I found out where do I fill it to check for the leak. I think I may have pinched the cable or something but I need to fill it back up to check for a leak.

did you stick your finger in it to see if it is atf or brake fluid? did your clutch quit working at that time?
if your clutch pedal is lying on the floor then that is probably where your leak is. if not then you had better check the brake lines also. if it is Atf then check your trans cooler lines and power steering lines.

yeah my clutch is laying on the floor and all the linkage is still attached can i get away with just replacing the slave cylinder or do i need to do the whole master cylinder kit I noticed about a $150 dollar difference in the two. Of course this is if that's where the leak is I haven't even checked yet but I did read the TSB here about the slave cylinder's seals being weak. So i'm asuming that's what gave it's just wierd it gave right after I installed my body lift.

What it sounds like to me is the slave cylinder seal went on you.
When mine went, I had a large puddle of brake fluid under my tranny and was dripping from the side.
My seal on my slave cylinder went bad on me long before my clutch did.
I kept loosing pressure when I depressed the pedal.
I replaced the clutch disk, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, slave cylinder, and had my flywheel turned about 4000 miles ago and its like driving a new truck even with my plow on the front.
Total cost for parts was 235 bucks and I bought All Luk parts.
Took my bro in law and I about 4 hours and 2 12 packs to do this.
Actually went pretty easy.

ATF? What are you talking about? You can't put oil-based fluid in a clutch system any more than you can a brake system. They both use brake fluid.

Alright guys I topped off the clutch fluid and pumped it and I can't get any pressure I did it with the truck on and off. I took the cap off and it's all still there so it didn't go out my leak wherever it is. Shouldn't it be like brakes and I get pressure until all my fluid is gone again? I'm pretty set on it being the slave cylinder I just want to be sure I didn't kink a line when I did the body lift and from what I can see I didn't but I just want to see where the leak is coming from.

Just started pumping it seemed like the logical thing to do. But I was reading a couple other posts about bleeding it and I went to go try that but I can't find the bleeder valve I took the whole slave cylinder down from the transmission and I still can't find it. Then frustrated I tried to take it off no luck. I took out the cotter pin and now what? It seems stuck I don't think it has threads?
