OHV Rally in Olympia 3/9

PROTECT YOUR RIGHT TO RIDE! Be at the OHV Rally and bring ALL your riding
buddies this Friday!

MARCH 9, 2007 at NOON on the Capitol steps (North side of the dome)

Remember, there have been enough Senators supporting Senator Kline's very
discriminatory anti-OHV anywhere positions, that this bill is now on the
floor for a vote by the complete Senate! That means there are a lot of
Senator's like Kline!!! YIKES!!! See
http://www.soundrider.com/current/sb5544.htm

For more information: including Pre-Rally staging areas (reserve your free
T-shirt there and join the convoys to Olympia!), etc.
…on this Rally, http://www.wohva.org/

On the most discriminatory, anti-OHV Bill ever proposed;
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summ...5544&year=2007

The Washington State Legislature is currently considering changing the
offroad vehicle noise laws.

The proposed changes would include creating maximum sound levels for riding
near any residence, regardless of where that residence is located or how it
is zoned. It would become illegal to ride if your bike is “plainly audible”
from in or adjacent to any residence. This would even include residences
that are on farm land, forest land or in an industrial area.

These new limits would only apply to your dirtbike or quad. It would not
apply to other, more common sources of residential noise such as lawnmowers,
chainsaws, cars, trucks, boats, airplanes, stereos, playgrounds, ballfields,
etc. It is just plain discrimination against ORV use and has nothing to do
with keeping neighborhoods quiet.

If this becomes law, forget about riding any track in the State of
Washington. Also, you can count on the vast majority of riding areas
shutting down.

Join us at the capitol and let your elected representatives know that you’re
not going to just stand by and let them eliminate our sport!

Do not expect the other guy to go to the rally. You are the one to stand up
and protect your investment in machines and your freedom to use them.

IF NOT YOU, WHO? IF NOT NOW, WHEN?
