i've owned an 87 reg cab with no room behind the seats, and an 04 reg cab with the half doors... they own for storing stuff there. I wish my screw had some kinda storage behind the back seat - place where you can put some decent subs

^^^^ I dont think its a photoshop job...Ive even seen one out here in CA...took me a while to figure out what the heck I was parked next to...Ive also seen a neat Utility bed option at the Ford fleet sales lot out here too...all the doors are integated like that one.

Personally I like the idea but id make it a Crew Cab longbed F150 with that option...I think it'd look better.

Thumbs up Kewel!

I'd take one as a standard cab, tool box/trunk and a 6.5 foot bed. Truck should be about 20' overall and be manuverable, peppy even with a six, and be a way better deal than any other manufacturers offering. Including the wannabe Honda!

That picture looks like a 2007 model. It has the same lines as the current F 150.

Its not a photoshop, unless they can photo-shop reality! I saw this truck up close and personal today. Its got some pretty cool features behind those doors. Sliding tool drawers, etc. Coded to your door key. I don't think it has a huge market, but there are some people who can use something like that. Ford's done similar things in the past with bedside doors though not to this level before. The only thing I don't like is the overall length of the bed but then again I don't like the look of long bed pickups. Choices are good for consumers... not everyone likes short bed trucks either!

yeah i know it isn't photo shopped now but when i added my commentary to that thread awhile back i wasn't aware that the truck actually existed, I read a thread about it a month or so back and they actually showed what it was... which was pretty interesting, i could use one on my truck although i dont like the door handle their maybe if the handle was a button on top or something hidden because i think it looks ugly like that but that just my 2 cents...

That box thing is a neat idea...good for contractors and mechanics...but why put that on a four door truck? I mean if i wanted to drive a bus, i'd buy a bus. That would be good on a regular cab or something........it'd be a good place to put some subs too!! lol

Ford needs the 6.2L, bad! Skip the doors Ford and put some real motors back in the trucks and Mustangs! More bore and at least 4inches. A 6.2L SOHC 3v and a DOHC 4v using the R/GT/GT500 heads would rock in a Mustang!

Oh yeah, and with the gas milage I hear these big HP vettes get, it should be able to at least do what a Chevy can do mpg/performance wise.

scroll down and check out the chevy chyenne truck with the tool box and 295 HP, I agree ford is asleep at the wheel..whats up!!!!!! a friend of mine just picked up a new 2 wheel drive chevy, gets22mpg on hi-way it drops a few cylinders on the open road has 295 HP engine and a hi- ratio rear-end 3.23 and runs like a raped ape ..I still like fords better but the need for new is now or they will soon be missing the boat, my friend wanted the ford but apples to apples the chevy won, plus it came with a 100,000 mile warranty..I dont get it..
