Question down pipe

I was woundering how big the down pipe is on my 06 6.0. I think it is 3.5 in, but iam not sure. I would like ot put a full trubo back exhaust system on but i have been told that if i go with a bigger down pipe that 3.5 in it will crack do to the tourqe of the engine and the fire wall. so i am trying to find away around this, if someone could help me that would be great.

Jeremy, you might try your question in the diesel fourms as well.

Do it right, do it once (perhaps twice if you try to run more than 14psi on stock rods, or if you don't read the instructions properly).

6L PWR is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I put a 4" on my '06. It requires a little modification to the pinch weld of the firewall to fit, but it will fit. Specifically, take a hammer and beat the crap outof the pinch weld until it's flat.

Putting a 4"DP will make you lose some low end torque, unless you're pretty well modified.
