Suspension is the same as 07' so any 07' stuff should work. We recommend Donahoe or Fabtech. Have seen both on 08's including Kelderman Air Ride. Let me know if we get you anything.

so are the kits on the above trucks the kits used on 07 and previous models or a 08 specific kit?

I spoke to all the manuf. directly and they all said they are releasing new kits to address the small changes made in the suspension system on the 08

The Donahoe kit looks nice and is highly recommended. If your worried about the back being level you can add a leaf like I did.

The 08's rear leaf springs are 8" longer, these lifts must come with rear blocks?

wait for the RIZE kits...

They should be out soon. I have put about 25 or 30 of the 8 inch kits on 05-07 superdutys we sold at our lot (canyonstateauto.com). they are by far the best looking and performing suspensions we have used. go to the website to check some of them out.

I'm still waiting on this procomp kit and need to get this truck in the air yesterday...

Does anyone know what is involved in fitting the 07 and previous kit to the 08? My understanding is the only thing you have to overcome is the sway bar links..anyone know what exactly needs to be done?

Matt, here goes. I do not have personal experience with this, but as you are doing, I have been doing research for the last 6 months. You need to call Kevin or Chris at www.klmperformance.com (also a FTE sponsor) and they will tell you about fitment issues. I have a '08 F350 with the Donahoe Racing 2.5" Leveling Kit, and it clears BFG A/T 325/65/18's with little issue. The new Super Duties have an additional 1.5-2" more tire clearance in the rear of the fender well. If you measure from the front of the front door to the inside of the fender you will find this true. As far as the pictures on a previous post go, the black truck has 35" tires with 4.5" backspacing on the wheels with the Donahoe 2.5" kit, the Silver FX4 has the Donahoe 4.5" kit with 37" tires. They (Truck Toyz) were working hand in hand with Donahoe R&D and that is why they have some of the first trucks that are lifted. KLM Performance works hand in hand with Donahoe in many other areas and are an awesome resource. The 4.5" lifted truck (shown lifted) actually has prototype parts on it.

Here are the changes that I have been told. 2.5" lift (leveling kit), no required mods (05'-07' lifts bolt up) 4.5" requires revised sway bar links and brake line brackets (I think there are minor others too). I will tell you this, with my truck on a car lift and the tires hanging with the 2.5" lift the brake lines are quite tight. You might consider upgrading or revising them even with the 2.5". By the way, this is the best lift kit I have ever ridden on. They truely are a dual rate spring, they handle better than stock, have less body lean, and are soft enough on bumps to not jar you. Their shocks are also specifically valved for a F250 or F350, not generic. I have had absolutely excellent performace out of mine.

I highly recommend KLM Performance to purchase the parts from (Donahoe). Kevin and Chris at KLM Performance www.klmperformance.com, have sold me quite a few parts for this new truck, and are extremely qualified and offer real world recommendations, not BS just trying to sell another part. If this is not enough info, PM me and I will hook you up with my cell phone number. Hope this helps.
