Chrysler rename
I run an auto transport business and move alot of different types of cars. We move alot of chryslers and benz's so i'm seeing the influence of benz on diamler chrysler to make them more like benz, yet they're keeping the price in the same ranges they've always been. All this said I'm renaming chrysler-
poor man's benz!
Just a thought my brother and I were talking about the other day, figured I'd see what ya'll thought.

Well, Daimler-Benz named the cars Mercedes Benz after the daughter or other relative of one of them.
So, they might could re-name the Chrysler stuff after who, the customer?
This here's the Billy-Bob Benz, formerly the Ram 1500
This here's the Beulah Benz, formerly the Town and Country Minivan...
It could work...

Now, the million dollar question...what does the Mercedes-Benz star hood ornament refer to? They are actually arrows..but what are they pointing at?
Prolly 99% of all Mercedes owners (and the dealers too) haven't a klew.

Land, Sea and Air...righto. I think that ornament design dates to 1910-1912.
Paper money: Did'ja know that over 80% of the US 100 dollar bills in circulation have cocaine residue on them? Read that in "Uncle John's Bathroom Reader."

The way thngs are going, Mopar employees might think that the company is Benz-Over. I really hope that they pull off another miracle.
Mopar has always had some great stuff ( hemis/ slant 6/ minivans and more), but they always seem to get busted with huge sales problems. ( something causes them not to have any -- sales that is)
D Benz didn't do them any favors -- they took profits from mopar -- and now that the Benz line is selling they're ready to cut mopar loose.
Last I read DB was selling them off -- and there weren't any excited buyers

These refer to engines...engines for Land = motor vehicles. Sea = marine engines. and Air = aircraft (originally Zeppelins).
What's ironic about the latest fall of Chrysler, is Walter Percy Chrysler was a German immigrant who was once president of....General Motors.
