Ok, i know this is posted a lot, but i have tuner questions

I just bought a 2007 f350 with the 6.0. I use to own a 2004 f350 with a 6.0 also, and i bought a Superchip 1704 tuner for it. I haven't owned it for awhile so i'm kinda lost on what happened with new tuners. when i bought my superchip it advertised HP an Torque gains. now all i can find is the superchip Flashpaq?? what is that, is it going to put the same or more power than my old tuner did? it doesn't really say how much it gives you. does it change teh shifting so its better or does it slam into gear? (i had a 6 speed in my old truck, now i have a auto)

I know i'm asking a bunch of questions, but i couldn't really find anything that answered my questions about the flashpaq vs. the 1704. any help would be great. thanks!

Go with an SCT xCal2. You can get the tunes custom written for you and NO tuner controls the shifting better. I bought mine for Innovative Diesel, but there's other programmers that are just as good. Elite Diesel, DJ's Performance Diesel, Long Island Performance Diesel, and others. Forgive me if I left anyone out.

The flashpaq is now the very slick product it has always been promised to be. They have a website dedicated to them where you can find higher powered and updated calibrations. It's basically an update on the old micro tuners, you will probably get more power out of it than the micro just because it's newer. Then you have the option of uploading hot tunes to the flashpaq for even more power.

While it's not as advanced as Snipers special forces, it's a very nice entry level system.

Robber80, go to SCTflash.com. You will find everything you need to know there. I just purchased a SCT Livewire from Long Island Performance Diesel, and am very impressed with it. It eliminates the need for gauges by having its own monitor. Easy to install and less to hook up than with conventional gauges and other brands of monitors. LIPD's service is second to none, and they regularly participate in discussions at this site.
