Hello folks,

Well, havent lurked around here for a while and with the weather getting better I think I am going to start my hunt for replacement parts on my 1949 F-6. Where are some different sites that I can check out besides ebay (I look there all the time) to find body parts? This thing has some pretty bad cancer but have to start somewhere!

Sheetmetal I'd try ebay, the classifieds here and at bonusbuilt.com, etc
For mechanical stuff try Joblot Automotive, NAPA, and your local, big truck shop.

What kind of parts are you looking for?

As for sheetmetal goes, might be able to salvage part of the fenders but probably hood, running boards. I am going to pull the engine here in a couple of months and rebuild it. I am 6hrs from it right now at college so I cant really do anything until I get done with school in May.

Thanks for the links, has anyone made up a list of part numbers for different things on these rigs?

Click on my signature and go to my web site. I have a link toward the bottom to my interchange chart.
