Why is it that the xl,xlt. stx lariat all have there names on the fender badges but the fx4 models just have a plain badge that states f-150 5.4 only is the fx4 an after thought is this why

 

Maybe its because of that giant sticker on the bed that says FX4?

 

I really dont care for the sticker I am taking it off i think it takes away from the look of the truck

 

I dont think you will find STX on the badge either do you?

Custom badges aren't real cheap but FoMoCo will probably rape you pretty good on stock badges as well.

 

actually, ford does have an FX4 fender badge that came on the expedition with the FX4 package...do a search cause i have seen them. might try y2kparts.com and talk to ed

 

I took off the fx4 sticker before I left the dealer lot I also would be interested in fender badges with fx4 Keep up the good advice guys.

 

i wish i could remember but i saw them on a site and they were factory badges on the rear tailgate of the expedition with FX4 package. had a pic but i can't find right now, included part # too. they were colored just like the stickers. i didn't get them (cause i have a lariat) but i did get one of the 4x4 emblems off of a new explorer sport-trac 4x4. put it on my tailgate opposite the f150 emblem....looks good

 

Anybody know where to get factory stx stickers besides from the ford dealer?

 

Here's one installed on the gate of an f150. Says it from an '03 Exp, but no part #. Not sure if this is something the original poster is looking for.

thats the emblem but not the same pic...it was a much better pic that shoed the colors...can get them from ed at discountfordparts.com (i think this is right...it is a ford dealership in washington state....ed is real good to buy from, very helpful and will go the extra mile for the little stuff like this IMHO.....
