i have a soft tonneaur cover, 33" all terrains, 40 series muffler, and a volant intake. On average, I get around 15 mpg and on the highway, i get around 16-17

geez guys. i'm hoping to get 17-20 all day long. i got about 17.5-21 outta my '00 150 4.2L v6. hmmm... maybe if i take out all the seats, console, bed and spare tire that oughta lighten it up about 1000 lbs. haha. i wish the programmers had economy tunes to supplement the performance tunes. i knew what i'd be getting into and i know my truck is still breaking in, but damn. it seems i'm going to dropping about a 1000 bucks to "hope" it pays off in the longevity and fuel economy.
