This is my first post here, and I need some help please. I have a '70 pickup, 302 and need a new right side exhaust manifold. No one seems to sell them. I can get 360s, or 428s, even 300s, but no 302s. The early Mustang appears to be the same , anyone know for sure?? Thanks.

Fits = 1969/72 F100 & 1969/72 Econoline 100-200-300 302 engines

and 1970-72 Ford Galaxies. Dunno about Mustang using the same manifold.

You know what I happen to have one or two but it may be for my 351w either way it will fit. I will have to check if I still have it seeing how it was in the trash. I put headers on my 351w.

If you guys can work a deal on that manifold, please use the FTE PM or email system to communicate about it rather than posting here in the forums...

And if it doesn't work out, looks like Bill gave you some good options on vehicles to look for in the wrecking yards for a manifold. I just took a look at my '70 E200 302 and it has the right side manifold that exits straight back. Seems to me the Mustang manifolds were the same way, but it's been a while...

If you score a decent used one, might not be a bad idea to run it into your local machine shop and have the flanges surfaced just to true it up before installing.

My post was for information, not an advertisement. I appreciate any information someone knows that might help. I've tried several sources with no answers, that's why I came here. I'm willing to buy a new manifold for a Mustang IF it's the same. That's what I'm really looking for. Good grief, I wasn't looking to reprimanded for my first post.

 

Nobody was reprimanding you for anything. I welcomed you to the forum with a standard greeting, and 70T351W made you a nice offer on the possibilty of a used manifold that might work. I merely mentioned that if you guys could work a deal on it to be sure and use the PM or email system to communicate about it as per FTE policy. No problems on this end, sorry if it came across wrong....
